Science Station announces the return of its popular Early Explorations adult/child classes

Science Station announces the return of its popular Early Explorations adult/child classes. Adult/child classes at the Science Station are a great way for children between the ages of 3 and 5 to explore science in an interactive, hands-on setting. Children bring their favorite adult to explore and discover science in a unique setting. Dinosaurs will be the focus of the next series of adult/child classes. Each week we will explore a different dinosaur topic. Come and explore how big the dinosaurs really were. Become a dinosaur hunter as we dig for dinosaurs. Discuss what our dinosaur friends may have had for lunch and go on a dinosaur egg hunt. Each class will include a make & take activity, dinosaur songs and movement activities, and a dinosaur story. Science Station adult/child classes will be offered as a four-week series in January. Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday morning classes are available. Koala Maze: Open Aug. 1 through Oct. 31 and will be paired with the IMAX® film, "Australia: Land Beyond Time". To negotiate the maze, visitors answer questions and are directed to interactive "rooms" based on their answers. Children will learn what it's like to be a kangaroo joey, what koala bears eat and where they live through many interactive displays.
