Part of the IMAX® Experience is making sure that your ears have the same fantastic experience as your eyes. That's why the McLeod/Busse IMAX® Dome Theatre features 36 speakers that pump out a total of 10,000 watts through a six-channel digital sound system. This allows the sound system to produce up to 57 watts per seat. The soundtrack is actually separate from the film. A CD or DVD is synchronized with the film by computer provide a clear and crisp sound experience.
