Due to flooding in downtown Cedar Rapids, the Science Station exhibit gallery will remain closed to the public until further notice.  You may leave a message at the Science Station hotline number, 362-4537, and we will call you back.  (Our regular phone line is not currently in service, but we'll let you know when it is -- we're getting close!!)  You may also contact us via the e-mail addresses shown on the staff listing.

Science Station memberships now being honored at the Iowa Children's Museum in Coralville and the Carl and Mary Koehler History Center in Cedar Rapids!  See article below.

Stay tuned to this website for upcoming news of an exciting offsite traveling exhibit that will bring to Cedar Rapids a whole new generation of interactive adventures!  This fabulous exhibit, along with related programming, shopping, and birthday party packages, will debut on October 1st and remain open through the end of the year.

	Closed Until Further Notice The Science Station will be closed indefinitely due to the aftermath of flooding in downtown Cedar Rapids. The restoration contractor has completed their work and left us with a blank slate from which to create the next chapter in the life of the Science Station. Photographs of the flood damage and the recovery process are posted in the Photo Gallery section of this website.

	Local Museums Honor Science Station Memberships Effective immediately, Science Station family memberships are being honored at the Iowa Children's Museum in Coralville. Two adults and all children under 18 living in the household may visit the ICM free of charge through December 31, 2008 by showing their Science Station membership cards. Visit their website at www.theicm.org. The Carl and Mary Koehler History Center in Cedar Rapids is also providing free admission to Science Station Members until we reopen to the public.
